Description

Taos Sun is a small wall hanging – only 12″ x 12″ – perfect for that small niche that you want to hang something but it’s not a big enough space for a large wall hanging.  The colors in it reminded me of the colors in the sunsets in Taos, NM.  It was paper pieced then stitched “in the ditch” which means stitching on the seam lines as you can see in the close up.  It is made up of batik and cotton hand dyed fabrics, has a 80/20 cotton/polyester batting and a rod pocket on the back for easy hanging.
