Description

Summer’s End is a quilt from Maggie Walker designs.   These designs are intricate and have lots and lots of images and designs within the whole piece.  There are nine different dog breeds along with several types of birds and leaves across the whole top with a multi pieced background fabric.  It is 47″ x 56″.  It is made with 100% cotton fabrics and threads, 80/20 cotton/polyester batting and has a rod pocket on the back for easy hanging.   There is a label on the back telling what each dog breed is and it’s position on the quilt.  They are: 1-Dachshund, 2-Jack Russell Terrier, 3-Griffon, 4-Schnauzer, 5-Bulldog, 6-Dalmatian, 7-Weimaraner and Portuguese Waterdog Pup, 8-Golden Retriever and the center is a Fox Hound.  The close ups show each breed.  It is mostly machine appliqued but  two of the dogs are hand appliqued.  The fabric on the back is also a dog fabric.
